JWLJ Episode 2: Food Week

By admin On November 20, 2010 Under Acai Berry in the News

This week, I examine my eating habits a little more closely. I had a really bad week..it felt like a relapse of what I used to eat and ended up gaining, not losing because of my actions. The following week, I went back to basics and portioned my food again..lost most of the weight I put on and had a better understanding that I still have a long way before I change my ways food-wise. Please send me messages, comments and suggestions on what you eat or what to eat.

Congratulations on knowing you were off track and doing what you needed to to correct it! I know what you mean about living in a house with people who aren’t dieting. . its rough. I actually have bought my own frozen dinners and snacks to try to make it better. Good luck and thanks for the Subscription and comment!

Yea, I mean I feel really guilty when I’m eating badly and I don’t appreciate it as much when I am eating healthy.

I’ve been working with a therapist on my portion control and over-eating issues – we’ve been discussing the role guilt plays in a lack of feeling satisfied: that is, our negative feelings about what we’re eating stops us from feeling satisfied, so we eat more than we need. If we just loved and appreciated what we were eating, no matter what, we’d find ourselves stopping at healthy point, fulfilled and satisfied! I’m exploring the idea – don’t know what I think of it yet!

Keep it goin Juno, you can do this! As far as foods, I think that second week was fine, just keep eating more fruits and veggies and fill up on those first. . . or add them into your meals with a smaller portion of something else.

Hey Juno, the second part looked so good. I’m craving veggies now. I’m glad you got back on track. We’re all going to have these days and sometimes weeks. The important part is not giving up. Congrats!
